A Senegalese logistics operator needed reliable flatbed trailers for transporting shipping containers and general cargo from the Port of Dakar to the Diamniadio Industrial Zone. To meet these requirements, RUCKMAN supplied a configuration of 3-axle, 50-ton container flatbed semi trailers designed to accommodate both container transportation and various types of general cargo.
The solution focused on reinforced container locks, a heavy-duty flatbed structure, reinforced chassis support and suspension components to meet the customer's diverse transportation requirements.
3-axle, 50-ton container flatbed semi trailer supplied for port logistics transportation in Senegal.
Our customer is a logistics and transportation operator in Senegal, mainly handling cargo transportation between the Port of Dakar and the Diamniadio Industrial Zone.
The customer's transportation business involves different types of cargo, including:
Since the customer handles both containerized and general cargo, a versatile flatbed trailer was required to support different transportation tasks.
The customer had previously purchased semi trailers from RUCKMAN and was satisfied with their quality. Following the award of new transportation contracts, the customer decided to place another order for 2 units of 3-axle, 50-ton container flatbed semi trailers.
Based on the customer's transportation requirements, we arranged a flatbed trailer configuration combining container securing features with a reinforced chassis and deck structure.

Since container transportation is one of the customer's main operations, 12 sets of container locks were installed around the perimeter of the flatbed deck.
Each container lock was specially reinforced to help reduce the risk of cracking and deformation during transportation. This configuration provides designated container securing positions while retaining the flatbed's versatility for other cargo transportation tasks.
Reinforced container locks arranged around the flatbed deck for container transportation.
The flatbed deck features a structural thickness of 160 mm, providing a substantial deck structure for heavy-duty transportation applications.
Combined with reinforced chassis support frames, the trailer is configured to provide stronger structural support under demanding loading conditions. The reinforced structure is particularly relevant to the customer's transportation of heavy containers, steel products and other construction materials.

To improve the structural strength of the trailer, the chassis uses closely arranged heavy-duty support frames.
The inner and outer suspension components are also reinforced to better withstand the torsional forces generated during turning, uneven road travel and unloading operations. These structural improvements are intended to reduce the risk of component deformation under demanding operating conditions and support long-term trailer durability.

Reinforced leaf spring suspension assembly for heavy-duty transportation applications.
Integrated fenders are installed above the tires to help reduce mud and debris from splashing onto the trailer body. This design helps protect painted surfaces and chassis components from contamination and unnecessary wear, particularly when operating on roads with dust, mud or loose materials.
For the customer's logistics business, the ability to transport different cargo types with a single trailer configuration is an important consideration.
The 3-axle, 50-ton flatbed trailer configuration combines container locks, a reinforced deck structure and strengthened chassis and suspension components.
It is designed to accommodate the customer's transportation requirements, including:
This multi-purpose configuration provides the customer with a versatile flatbed transportation option for logistics operations between the Port of Dakar and the Diamniadio Industrial Zone.
The customer had previously purchased semi trailers from RUCKMAN. Based on the customer's satisfaction with the quality of those trailers, the customer chose to continue the cooperation for this new transportation requirement.
The latest order of 2 units of 3-axle, 50-ton container flatbed trailers represents another step in our ongoing business relationship. The configuration was arranged around the customer's actual cargo types and transportation needs, rather than simply supplying a standard flatbed trailer.
